The awards are for excellence in architecture in the developing world and are for both finished buildings and uncompleted projects. They will be offered in six categories: commercial, residential, leisure, masterplanning, mixed use and community work (including religious and public buildings). A special award will be given to the completed scheme that best demonstrates imagination on environmental issues.
