CityBank Names Acting Chief Financial Officer.

LYNNWOOD, Wash. -- On June 8, 2005, the Bank named Chantha Bunphoath Acting Chief Financial Officer of CityBank (Nasdaq:CTBK). Ms. Bunphoath has a total of 12 years banking experience, the last eight in Finance Administration at CityBank.

Ms. Bunphoath will replace Judy Muench, our former Chief Financial Officer, who will retire June 30, 2005. Ms. Muench will assist in the transition of her duties to Ms. Bunphoath until her retirement date.
