About 2,500 competitors from the UK and Europe will be cheered on by more than 4,000 spectators each day in the Jaguar Exhibition Hall. Collin Johnson, secretary of the British Cheerleading Association, said: "The sport is a growing phenomenon. It is a relatively new sport that youngsters love to do and it is growing an average of 20 per cent per annum Per annum Yearly. ." It is the first time the competition has been held at the Arena.
