Accommod8 owns and manages more than 120 student properties, many in the city's traditional student heartlands of Wavertree and Kensington. The new base, in Mount Pleasant, will support Accommod8's expansion into the city centre market, where it offers over 650 bedspaces in a variety of houses and apartments. After successfully renting rooms out to friends, Mr Blythe began to build up a property portfolio and went on to launch Accommod8 to provide services specifically for student landlords and developers. He said: "Despite the current volatility in the property market, there is huge demand for good quality accommodation from Liverpool's student population. "Student numbers have continued to grow year-on-year and expectations are high for the right type of accommodation in central convenient locations. "The move to the city centre will allow us to meet this increasing demand and provide good quality secure accommodation, supported by professional housing advice, to many more Liverpool students." Accommod8 is dedicated solely to student landlords and developers regulated by the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA).
