City selects engineering and landscape teams for SI plan.


The city selected the consultant team for engineering and landscape design services that will implement the Staten Island Staten Island (1990 pop. 378,977), 59 sq mi (160 sq km), SE N.Y., in New York Bay, SW of Manhattan, forming Richmond co. of New York state and the borough of Staten Island of New York City.  redevelopment plan for the $1.5 million Stapleton neighborhood and North Shore waterfront.

The City's Economic Development Corporation selected Weidlinger Associates to provide engineering services, and Margie Ruddick/Wallace, Roberts & Todd to guide the aesthetic design of the project.
