City pub to reopen with new managers.


THE owners of a popular Coventry pub which has been closed for weeks have assured locals the venue will soon reopen re·o·pen

The Cedars on Barker Butts Lane, Coundon, was shut at the end of February.

Owners Enterprise Inns are now looking for new landlords.

Enterprise Inns Plc would not disclose the reason behind the closure.

Coun Ken Charley, Chairman of the city council's Licensing Committee, said: "The pub has been closed for about three weeks. I am not aware of the background although the licence is still in force."
