City of Redlands Selects General Physics Corporation to Design and Construct Liquefied Natural Gas Fuel Station.

ELKRIDGE, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 5, 2003

General Physics Corporation (GP), a subsidiary of GP Strategies Corporation (NYSE: GPX), has been awarded a $1.4 million contract to design and construct a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and Liquid to Compressed Natural Gas (LCNG) fuel station for the City of Redlands, California.

The facility will consist of a single 16,400-gallon vertical LNG storage vessel, two wall mounted LNG dispensers, an island mounted dual hose CNG dispenser, associated pumps and vaporizers, canopies, parking improvements and landscaping. The fuel station will be able meet the City of Redlands growing fleet of LNG and CNG natural gas vehicles. The station is scheduled to be completed in the second quarter of 2003.

In 2002, GP completed work on LNG stations for Riverside County Waste Management and two LCNG fuel stations for the Omnitrans bus agency that serves San Bernardino County. Other fuel stations GP is scheduled to complete in 2003 are the City of Bakersfield LNG/LCNG fuel station and the City of Santa Monica Big Blue Bus LNG/LCNG fuel station.
