: GPX GPX - Early system on UNIVAC II. Listed in CACM 2(5):16 (May 1959). ), has been awarded a $1.4 million contract to design and construct a Liquefied Natural Gas liquefied natural gas: see under natural gas.
Liquefied natural gas (LNG)

A product of natural gas which consists primarily of methane. Its properties are those of liquid methane, slightly modified by minor constituents.
 (LNG LNG (liquefied natural gas): see under natural gas. ) and Liquid to Compressed Natural Gas Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is a substitute for gasoline (petrol) or diesel fuel. It is considered to be an environmentally "clean" alternative to those fuels. It is made by compressing natural gas (which is mainly composed by methane (CH4  (LCNG) fuel station for the City of Redlands, California.

The facility will consist of a single 16,400-gallon vertical LNG storage vessel, two wall mounted LNG dispensers, an island mounted dual hose CNG CNG Compressed Natural Gas

. The station is scheduled to be completed in the second quarter of 2003.

In 2002, GP completed work on LNG stations for Riverside County Waste Management and two LCNG fuel stations for the Omnitrans bus agency that serves San Bernardino County. Other fuel stations GP is scheduled to complete in 2003 are the City of Bakersfield LNG/LCNG fuel station and the City of Santa Monica Big Blue Bus LNG/LCNG fuel station.
