City of New York Signs 5-Year Contract with RAD Energy and FUELMAN/GASCARD.

The new contract extends and expands a Gascard fleet management program developed by RAD Energy in 1993 when the City began closing many of its underground storage tank An Underground Storage Tank (UST), in United States environmental law, is a tank and any underground piping connected to the tank that has at least 10 percent of its combined volume underground.  systems (USTs) and was seeking a better way to control its fueling costs. The City's fleet management program currently administers 12,517 cards and 38,855 card users on the Fuelman/Gascard system.
