BB:TLNT TLNT Tweede Luitenant (Dutch) TLNT Telephony Network TLNT Trunk Link Network ) Wednesday announced that the Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT LADOT Los Angeles Department of Transportation ) has selected Telenetics' TrafficWatch(tm) System for a field installation scheduled for later this month. The TrafficWatch(tm) System, which successfully passed its initial performance test, will now be installed in four hard-to-reach traffic intersections in Los Angeles. Once the field installation is successful, LADOT will install the TrafficWatch(tm) System to monitor 700-900 crucial intersections within the city. The entire project is scheduled to be completed before the end of this calendar year in order to meet Y2K See Y2K problem and Y2K compliant. Y2K - Year 2000 requirements. The TrafficWatch(tm) System will be connected to LADOT's 170 traffic controllers at the traffic junction unit. It will then communicate through wireless cellular networks to Telenetics' proprietary host system to be installed at LADOT's headquarters.
