, has signed a contract with Tiburon, Inc., a leading provider of mission-critical technology solutions for public safety officials, for its records management system. Tiburon's records management system will provide the Department with the latest and most efficient law enforcement records management functionality.

The Houston Police Department will replace a 25-year-old legacy mainframe-based system with Tiburon's records management solution for a tightly integrated system that delivers accurate and timely information ensuring operational efficiency, improved decision-making decision-making,
