City of Battle Creek selects SCC Communications' Computer-Aided Dispatch system.


BOULDER, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 8, 1996--SCC Communications Corp. today announced that following a competitive procurement process, the police and fire departments for the city of Battle Creek Battle Creek, city (1990 pop. 53,540), Calhoun co., S Mich., at the confluence of the Kalamazoo and Battle Creek rivers; settled 1831, inc. as a city 1859. Serving 45-square miles and a population of 55,000, the city of Battle Creek is the third largest city, in terms of land area, in the state of Michigan. Dispatching for 19 police and fire agencies, the Battle Creek communications center An agency charged with the responsibility for handling and controlling communications traffic.
