City looks set to come alive with a festival of colour.

A SENSATIONAL summer party hits the city's streets this weekend as the Cardiff Festival gets into full swing.

The Bay's waterfront will come alive with a masquerade of Caribbean inspired revellers this Saturday, as the MAS Carnival winds its way around the streets of Butetown.

Flamboyant costumes and creations, masks and headpieces, giant puppets and huge mobile sculptures will be leaving the Butetown Youth Pavilion, Dumballs Road, at 7.30pm before making their way down James Street
