City gets Spruced up for Christmas.


IT was a treemendous sight as the countdown to Christmas officially started outside Belfast City Hall Belfast City Hall is the civic building of the Belfast City Council. Located in Donegall Square, it faces north and effectively divides the commercial and business areas of the city centre.  yesterday.

The 48ft Norwegian Spruce came into the city from Hillsborough Forest Park.

And it marked an end of an era for chief tree cutter Reg Maxwell who retires after 30 years wielding wield
