DURHAM City Durham City could be:
  • The city of Durham, County Durham
  • The City of Durham local government district
  • The Northern League football team Durham City A.F.C.
 boss Lee Collings believes the fight for the UniBond First Division North title is now a four-horse race after his side picked up just three points from the last five games.

City host rock-bottom club Salford City at the Arnott Stadium tomorrow with a one-point lead at the top, and then promotion rivals Skelmersdale United on Tuesday.

Collings said: "They are a big four days for us, and after recent results Colwyn Bay, Newcastle Blue Star and Skelmersdale are now our rivals for the title.

"Colwyn Bay in particular are a threat, but fortunately all of our rivals have to play each other while Blue Star also have to play secondtop AFC (1) (Application Foundation Classes) A class library from Microsoft that provides an application framework and graphics, graphical user interface (GUI) and multimedia routines for Java programmers.  Halifax Town.

"It is still in our own hands and I would rather avoid the play-offs if possible, but we need to return to winning ways in the league, starting tomorrow against Salford."

The Manchester outfit lost 8-1 at Wakefield on Tuesday, have won only twice in the league and are 15 points adrift at the bottom of the table.

Durham have injury problems, with midfielder Lewis Dodds out for a month with ankle ligament damage and John Toft sidelined with a groin injury.

Striker Adam Johnston is doubtful, but captain Stephen Harrison returns after suspension and midfield pair David Duke and Keith Graydon are both back.
