(1) Total dollar value of payments from the City of Los Angeles for
the fiscal year Ended June 30, 2003 and June 30, 2002, respectively.

(2) Top local executive and phone number for Traylor Brothers Inc.

(3) Top executive information for parent company Bank of New York.

(4) Formerly Maersk Pacific Ltd.

(5) Top local executive for parent company State Street Corp.

Note: The information on this list was provided by the City of Los
Angeles Controller's Office and representatives of the companies
themselves. Companies are ranked by the total dollar amount of payments
received from the City of Los Angeles in the fiscal year ending June
30. There are no previous year rankings because there has been a change
in methodology. All vendor payments to one company were added together
instead of being kept separate, as was done last year.

To the best of our knowledge, this information is accurate as of press
time. While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy and
thoroughness of the list, omissions and typographical errors sometimes
occur. Please send corrections or additions on company letterhead to
the Research Department, Los Angeles Business Journal, 5700 Wilshire
