City churches get together.CHURCHES across Coventry will be uniting next month for an evening of celebration in a bid to reach the needs of the local communities. The Coventry Praise service will give all congregations across the city a chance to come together as part of the Hope08 initiative. Launched last September, the national scheme aims to bring all denominations together to help meet the needs, both physical and spiritual, of local people. The service is being staged at Coventry Cathedral Coventry Cathedral, also known as St. Michael's Cathedral, is the seat of the Bishop of Coventry and the Diocese of Coventry, in Coventry, West Midlands, England. The city has had three cathedrals. The first was St. , tomorrow, starting at 7.30pm and will be led by Sandra sandra (sänˑ·dr adj Godley, the events and conference manager for the cathedral. She said: "Coventry Praise is such a wonderful event. Much of my inspiration for it came from a deep desire to see churches coming together to celebrate who God is. "It's been a real privilege to work with so many churches to promote the message of Hope08."
