City bolstered by Chester youths; WELSH PREMIER.

TWO new signings from Chester City - Paul McManus and Andy Mitchell - could be in line for a place in Bangor City's squad for tonight's home clash with Gap Connah's Quay.

Striker McManus, 18, has 20 first team outings for the League Two club, while Mitchell, also 18, is a winger or midfielder.

Manager Nev Powell, who has had the registrations confirmed following the transfer window closing, could do with extra men, with both Marc Limbert and Jamie Brewerton suspended.

Powell said: "Having beaten Rhyl with ten men, the players' confidence is sky high and we are on a bit of a run again but need maximum points from these home games to stay in the title frame.

"We have hit form at the right time and the lads have got the belief again that they cannot be beaten but must ensure this game is not one those after-the-Lord-Mayor's-Show things."

Nomads manager Steve O'Shaugnessy's selection plans have been hit by a knee injury to midfielder Keiron Quinn, writes Mike McEvoy.

"Keiron had to go to hospital and unfortunately he'll be out for at least two weeks," said O'Shaugnessy.

Better news is the return of both midfielder Phil Dolan for his first appearance of 2009 following a three-match ban and striker Craig Jones who was suspended for one match.

Aberystwyth, with just one point from their last five league outings, have Gareth Hughes and ex-Bluebird Chris Venables suspended, but defender Christian Edwards returns to the line up for their trip to Caersws tonight, writes John Bridgwater.
