City Officials Dedicate New Van Nuys FlyAway Bus Facility.
WHAT: Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) officials and Los
Angeles City Councilmember Tony Cardenas will dedicate the
new Van Nuys FlyAway Bus Terminal, which provides
low-cost, nonstop bus service between the San Fernando
Valley and Los Angeles International Airport. Additional
parking, more convenient passenger drop-off and a new
terminal building will be available just in time for the
holiday travel weekend. Passengers will ride free from 6
a.m. to midnight.
A dedication event will include holiday carolers in
traditional attire, ribbon-cutting and refreshments.

BACKGROUND: The Van Nuys FlyAway Bus Terminal has served over
16 million passengers since it opened in 1975. New
features of the $34-million improvement project include a
modern terminal with added services and amenities,
additional parking and new landscaping.
