City National Bank Hires Tony Orme As Senior Vice President, Wealth Management Sales Manager.

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 6, 2004

City National Bank, the second largest independent bank headquartered in California, announced today that Tony Orme has joined the company as senior vice president and sales manager for its Wealth Management Services Division.

Orme will be responsible for new business development and oversee a team of investment, trust, estate and financial planning professionals in delivering the bank's full array of wealth management services to affluent individuals, families and foundations throughout California. Based at City National Center in Beverly Hills, Orme will report to Shelley Thompson, director of Wealth Management Services.

"Tony is a great addition to our Wealth Management Services team," said Thompson. "He brings to the position broad knowledge and expertise in the wealth management arena and will help take the delivery of our growing array of investment, trust and planning services to the next level."

Prior to joining City National, Orme was a managing director of Knightsbridge Asset Management, LLC in Newport Beach, Calif. He previously was with Bankers Trust Private Wealth Management Group, Sanford Bernstein and Fidelity Investments. Orme began his financial services career with Citibank as an assistant vice president in 1987.

Orme received his master's degree in business administration from the University of Southern California The U.S. News & World Report ranked USC 27th among all universities in the United States in its 2008 ranking of "America's Best Colleges", also designating it as one of the "most selective universities" for admitting 8,634 of the almost 34,000 who applied for freshman admission  and his bachelor's degree from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. He also holds National Association of Securities Dealers National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD)

Born in London, Orme and his wife Sherry reside in Laguna Beach, Calif. They have a 7-year-old daughter, Olivia.
