City Harvest Launches Insulated Cargo Bicycles as Latest "Green" Mode of Transportation.

With a larger than ever number of New Yorkers relying on emergency food programs, this new mode of transportation will help offset fuel costs and cost-effectively deliver more food to those in need. In addition, City Harvest has five hybrid trucks on the road and has launched an effort to convert its entire fleet of 16 trucks to hybrid technology by the end of 2009.
