Clara Ferrari, strategic plan co-ordinator for the City of Timmins, says the next step in the development of a strategic plan for Timmins lies in identifying specific solutions to existing economic and social problems. For areas identified as needing improvement or development, Ferrari says phase 2 of the strategic plan will identify and approach public and private interests that could potentially help in providing solutions to specific problems. "We're really trying to jump-start the process now. Trying to get people working on ideas. Part of that lies in getting our message out to the public."
