City's famous sights are put in the frame; ++ SCHOOLS ROUND-UP ++.


TEENAGE entrepreneurs have put their business skills in the frame by promoting Coventry in a positive light.

, Coventry, have produced a series of framed photographs showing the city's famous icons.

The 12-strong group, who have named their company Phoenix Enterprises, have snapped familiar sights like the cathedral, Millennium Place Millennium Place is a building complex located in located in the Downtown Crossing district of Boston, Massachusetts. The arena became the venue for Coventry City's home games at the start of the 2005-06 season, following 106 years at the Highfield Road stadium. The first competitive football match played at the Ricoh Arena was against Queens Park Rangers on 20 August 2005, in

The 16 pictures are available in a range of different effects, sizes and frames, priced from pounds 1.49.

Ben Amanna, 16, MD of Phoenix Enterprises, said: "Our aim as a business is to promote Coventry in a better way.

 Coventry in a different way and get rid of the stereotypical image many people have in their mind of Coventry."

He said they were already in talks with a local business to stock their products.

Business studies teacher at the school, Jennifer Steele, said: "They have shown a lot of initiative. They have a good product and, hopefully, they will make a profitable business. The main aim is to work as a team and learn new skills and they are definitely doing that."

The students sell their products at schools and at trade fairs across Coventry and are sponsored by city centre managers CV One, who also provide some photographs.

They made pounds 300 in profit from sales, which gets split between the group.

They are hoping their hard work will impress judges at the Coventry round of the Young Enterprise Company Programme competition, held in May.
