FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Citrix's Seventh Annual Global Business and Technology Forum Will Demonstrate the Business Benefits of Secure, On-Demand Information Access

Citrix's seventh annual global business and technology forum, to be held October 4-7 at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin resort in Orlando, Fla., will demonstrate how a strategic approach to information access can reduce the cost of running a business, while freeing up resources to invest in growing the business.

Citrix iForum Global is an intensive knowledge exchange that brings together current and future Citrix customers and partners from around the world. The conference features a variety of well-known industry speakers, hands-on technical workshops, a Technology Lab, roundtable discussions and product demonstrations, as well as sessions geared toward key Citrix vertical industries, including government, healthcare, financial services and education.

--IT staff and developers. These attendees can choose from two tracks that cover the technical details of access infrastructure. The track entitled, "Run a More Secure and Well-managed IT Environment" focuses on the security and management benefits of centralizing IT. The second track, "Optimize the Performance of Your Citrix Access Infrastructure," explains how to optimize and expand an existing Citrix implementation to meet changing business needs.

Citrix iForum Global 2004 has increased the scope of its offerings through a 60-percent increase in session content, including eight extended sessions providing in-depth content on a range of topics related to access. New Hands-on Technical Workshops will provide intensive training in Citrix products in a series of three-hour workshops available to iForum Global attendees for an additional fee of $500. These workshops will be held immediately after the conference on October 6-7.

On a lighter note, well-known comedian Sinbad will deliver a closing keynote - also new to iForum Global this year.
