Citrix and SAP America, Inc. Team to Deliver Joint Business Management Offering for Small and Mid-size Businesses.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. & NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pa. -- Citrix and SAP to Deliver Offering for Secure, Remote and Web Access to SAP(R) Business One; Announce Go-To-Market Channel Program

Citrix Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:CTXS) and SAP America, Inc., a subsidiary of SAP AG (NYSE:SAP), today announced that the companies will offer a joint offering for small and mid-size businesses (SMBs) that bundles SAP Business One with Citrix(R) MetaFrame(R) Presentation Server. The joint offering facilitates the deployment of SAP(R) Business One and provides fast and secure access remotely or over the Web to business-critical applications and information for end users in companies with up to 250 employees. The companies also have unveiled a go-to-market strategy that aligns the two companies and their channel partners.

Together, SAP and Citrix are leveraging their expertise to provide a joint offering that allows small and midsize businesses to quickly deploy SAP Business One to remote users. The new offering was designed to be practical and economical for small and mid-size firms, while providing many of the same technological advantages enjoyed by industry leaders.

The small and mid-size business IT market is estimated at $400 billion worldwide and comprises more than 15 million businesses globally, according to research firm, Gartner, in a research note dated Dec. 4, 2004. SAP and Citrix are joining forces to meet this demand by demonstrating a clear return on investment (ROI) and low total cost of ownership (TCO) with this joint offering.

SAP Business One is an affordable, integrated business management solution designed specifically for SMBs. SAP Business One gives these businesses the critical, up-to-the-minute information they need to make smart business decisions - from general ledger and banking activities, to customer service, sales, and inventory operations. With centralized deployment and upgrades through Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server, SAP Business One installations can be easily managed. Additionally, by deploying SAP Business One with MetaFrame Presentation Server, remote and/or mobile workers can securely and easily access application information wherever they may be. This powerful combined offering of tested and certified technologies will work right out of the box to give SMBs the tools they need to compete in today's marketplace.

Citrix and SAP will engage in joint end-user marketing and channel recruitment programs. The two companies are also creating a designated reseller and ordering program for SAP Business One called Citrix Authorized Partner for SAP Business One which will include joint SAP and Citrix resellers, thus opening up a new set of channels in the SMB market segment for each company. The SAP Business One and MetaFrame Presentation Server bundle will be delivered through a network of qualified channel partners in North America with additional geographies to be rolled out at later dates to leverage both Citrix's and SAP's global knowledge to provide local service and support.
