Citrix Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:CTXS), the global leader in access infrastructure solutions, today announced that the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) has awarded the company a five-year Federal Supply Schedule (GS-35F-0332N).

Through the Citrix GSA Schedule, or via an authorized Citrix Government Marketer (CGM), Federal agencies can purchase Citrix solutions, including the company's Citrix(R) MetaFrame(R) Access Suite of products, Citrix Consulting Services(TM) and Software Maintenance. Federal agencies also benefit from Citrix Subscription Advantage(TM) and Preferred Support, which provide priority access to platform and feature releases and technical support.

The GSA Schedule award provides a direct purchasing vehicle for Federal agencies and CGM partners, simplifying the process for acquiring Citrix solutions. All of the Citrix access infrastructure solutions, which enable users to find, organize and interactively work with applications and information securely from anywhere, are represented on the GSA Schedule. As a result, customers will experience consistency of service, direct support from Citrix and significant cost savings. The benefits of Citrix solutions can include increased employee productivity, reduced Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and greater system flexibility and scalability. Citrix solutions help solve core business and technology problems that Government customers face today, including application deployment, remote office connectivity, workforce mobility and business continuity.

Citrix Government Marketer (CGM) Program: Benefits

The CGM Program is a two-level program (Premier and Premier Plus) allowing CGM partners who are authorized for either Citrix's Federal GSA Schedule or Citrix-held State contracts to realize revenue by earning a commission on every order the CGM partner generates. CGM partners with demonstrated experience and expertise in government sales will also benefit from selling off of Citrix's GSA Schedule or State contracts without the infrastructure and administrative costs of maintaining their own contract. Citrix will manage the order processing, product delivery, invoicing and collection. The CGM Program will be supported by the Citrix Government Systems team, offering CGM partners the knowledge and experience of working with Federal and State Government agencies. The CGM program provides companies selling to the U.S. Federal Government with an opportunity to bolster sales and growth in the government marketplace.
