Citrix Lightens the Load for Mobile Workers.

Survey Shows One-Third of Workers Lug Between Two and Four Devices to Access the Applications They Need While Traveling; Citrix Provides Alternatives By Virtualizing Application Delivery

FORT LAUDERDALE Fort Lauderdale (lô`dərdāl), residential, commercial, and resort city (1990 pop. 149,377), seat of Broward co., SE Fla., on the Atlantic coast; settled around a fort built (c.1837) in the Seminole War, inc. 1911. , Fla. -- Citrix Systems Citrix Systems' (NASDAQ: CTXS) is an American technology company, based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with subsidiary operations in California and Massachusetts, with additional development centers in Australia, India and the UK. , Inc. (Nasdaq:CTXS CTXS Citrix Systems (NASDAQ stock ticker symbol) ), the global leader in access infrastructure solutions, today released findings from research into mobile work routines that reveal cell phones, laptops and personal digital assistants (PDAs) along with requisite power chargers and cords are a growing burden for mobile workers to haul on business trips away from the office. The findings show a trend of bags and pockets weighed down by a web of cords, computers and entertainment electronics. Citrix offers ways for mobile workers to slim down Verb 1. slim down - take off weight
