Citrix Installation Management Services

Citrix Installation Management Services gives IT professionals unprecedented single-point control, allowing them to "package applications once and publish them anywhere," for quick, easy and cost-effective application installation and deployment across growing server farms. Installation Management Services is a fast-cycle way to get the right applications to the right users around the world and can significantly reduce the time and expense of deploying business-critical applications, enterprise-wide.

With Installation Management Services, IT professionals run an application setup once on a single server; the application can then be automatically distributed and installed on any or all Citrix MetaFrame and WinFrame servers within a server farm, giving users immediate access to new or upgraded applications. Previously, Citrix administrators had to manually install or uninstall To remove hardware or software from a computer system. In order to remove a software application from a PC, an uninstall program, also called an "uninstaller," deletes all the files that were initially copied to the hard disk and restores the AUTOEXEC.BAT, CONFIG.SYS, WIN.INI and SYSTEM.  applications on every MetaFrame and WinFrame server in the server farm.

for them, the faster they can create a competitive advantage

through increased access to information, allowing quicker

business decisions and closer ties to customers. Citrix

Installation Management Services provides IT professionals with

Rapid Application Deployment (RAD) to distribute and install

applications across the extended enterprise in minutes, rather

than weeks or months. As a result, Citrix Installation Management
