Citrix Founder Edward Iacobucci Named Florida Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young; Miami Herald and Bloomberg News Also Rank Citrix as Top Florida Company.

The company also announced that it has been ranked third in The Miami Herald and Bloomberg News 1998 listing of Florida's top 100 public companies.

The Florida Entrepreneur of the Year Award, given annually by accounting firm Ernst & Young, recognized Iacobucci in the Software Technology category from more than 100 Florida business elite. The Herald Bloomberg 100, an annual ranking of Florida's top publicly held companies based on revenue, recognized Citrix as the third leading company in Florida in terms of sales Terms of sale

Entrepreneur of the Year Award

In its 12th year, the Ernst & Young award recognizes entrepreneurs who have demonstrated innovation and financial performance or have shown support for entrepreneurial ventures. The award uses independent judges including professionals from Florida's business, academic, and civic organizations to evaluate leaders in industries such as technology, manufacturing, retail, and communications. Contestants submit detailed financial histories and undergo in-depth interviews about themselves and their company's operations and products.

As a regional winner of the Ernst & Young award, Iacobucci is now eligible for National Entrepreneur of the Year. This award will be announced in November during the Entrepreneur of the Year Institute International Conference held in Palm Springs, CA.
