Citrix Appoints David Urbani as Acting CFO; John P. Cunningham Retires Due to Personal Matters.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 31, 2002

Citrix Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:CTXS), a global leader in virtual workplace software and services, today announced that David Urbani has been appointed acting chief financial officer for Citrix following the retirement of John P. Cunningham. Mr. Cunningham will retire immediately from Citrix due to personal matters that require his full-time attention.

David Urbani joined Citrix in March 2000 as vice president, corporate controller, responsible for the company's financial operations. Previously, he was vice president and treasurer of Maytag Corporation and he also held a treasury position at Air Products and Chemicals. Mr. Urbani holds an undergraduate degree from the Drexel Institute of Technology, and advanced degrees from MIT and Carnegie Mellon University.
