Citrix(R) Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:CTXS CTXS Citrix Systems (NASDAQ stock ticker symbol) ) today announced two new certification programs that address growing market demand for expertise in the company's application server solutions. The Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA CCEA Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator

) and Citrix Certified Sales Professional (CCSP CCSP - Contextually Communicating Sequential Processes ) programs complement and expand existing Citrix certifications and make it easier for customers and business partners to derive maximum value from their Citrix application server computing Citrix's term for its centralized, multiuser technology that runs the application in the server and sends only changes in the user interface to the client machine. Our new certification programs were created to meet these needs."

The CCEA designation is designed to provide organizations with large Citrix implementations a higher level expertise for installing and administering the full array of Citrix products. Becoming a CCEA requires certification as a Citrix MetaFrame(TM) or WinFrame(R) administrator (CCA (1) (Common Cryptographic Architecture) Cryptography software from IBM for MVS and DOS applications.

-- CTX-401: Citrix Resource Management Services Administration

(1-day course)

This course provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to install, configure and administer Citrix Resource Management Services. Students will also learn how to install and configure ODBC (Open DataBase Connectivity) A database programming interface from Microsoft that provides a common language for Windows applications to access databases on a network.  databases (SQL SQL

This course provides students with a general knowledge of Citrix technology, products and services and prepares them for selling and marketing Citrix products. Students will learn how to present Citrix technology as a solution to their prospective customers. This course is also available as self-study.
