Under the terms of the agreement, Kaiser plans to use Citrix access infrastructure to increase caregiver efficiency and reduce administrative costs by deploying applications more quickly.

With a successful implementation in Atlanta earlier this month, Kaiser plans to use Citrix access infrastructure to enable its 11,000 physicians and healthcare providers to get secure, easy, and instant access to 8.3 million patient medical records from Epic, the company's automated medical records (AMR (1) (Adaptive Multi-Rate) A variable rate speech codec selected by the 3GPP for the 3G evolution of the GSM cellphone system (WCDMA).
