Dear Teacher,

In this issue, we delve into the topic of globalization globalization

Process by which the experience of everyday life, marked by the diffusion of commodities and ideas, is becoming standardized around the world. Factors that have contributed to globalization include increasingly sophisticated communications and transportation
 and how it is affecting U.S. workers (see pp. 6-7). Many experts say that education and flexibility are key to meeting the growing challenges that a global economy poses. Will your students be prepared when they enter the workforce? They may be surprised to learn how their peers in China are preparing for the future (see pp. 8-11). We hope the information in this issue will spark spark, in electricity: see arc.
