Citizens Utilities will purchase equity stake in HTCC and provide management services.STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 18, 1995--Citizens Utilities ("Citizens") announced today its Agreement in Principle with Hungarian Telephone & Cable Corp. ("HTCC HTCC Hand Therapy Certification Commission HTCC High Temperature Cofired Ceramic HTCC Hindu Temple and Cultural Center HTCC Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce HTCC Hanford Training Coordinating Council ") pursuant to which the companies expect to contract for Citizens to provide telecommunications management services to HTCC and its subsidiaries. In a separate transaction, Citizens agreed to purchase 300,000 shares of HTCC Common Stock from Peter Klenner, presently the president, chief executive officer, chief financial officer and a director of HTCC. Klenner currently intends to remain a director of HTCC. Citizens will assist HTCC in hiring new operations and financial officers to replace Klenner.
