Citizens Holding Company Increases Fourth Quarter Cash Dividend to $.17 per Share.

) announced today that its Board of Directors declared a cash dividend of $0.17 per share payable December 30, 2005, to shareholders of record as of December 15, 2005.

"We are happy today to announce the declaration of a $0.17 per share cash dividend for the fourth quarter of 2005, an increase of 6.3% over the $0.16 per share paid in the third quarter of 2005," said Greg L. McKee, President and Chief Executive Officer. "This dividend will bring total dividends for the year of 2005 to $0.65 per share, an increase of 8.3% over the $0.60 per share paid in 2004."

Citizens Holding Company is a one-bank holding company and the parent company of The Citizens Bank of Philadelphia, both headquartered in Philadelphia, Mississippi Philadelphia is the county seat of Neshoba CountyGR6, Mississippi, United States. The population was 7,303 at the 2000 census.
