Citizens Communications to Acquire Berkshire Telephone Corporation.

Citizens Communications Citizens Communications is the parent company of Frontier Telephone, providing telephone and internet access in 24 states.

:CZN, CZNPr) and Berkshire Telephone Corporation (Berkshire) announced today that Citizens has agreed to acquire all of the assets of Berkshire. Berkshire serves more than 6,000 telephone access lines in five communities in Columbia County, New York
There is also a Town of Columbia in New York.


Columbia County is a county located in the U.S. state of New York. As of the 2000 census, the population was 63,094. The county seat is Hudson.
