Citizens Communications Names Customer-Care Vice President.


SACRAMENTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 1, 1999--

Citizens Communications Citizens Communications is the parent company of Frontier Telephone, providing telephone and internet access in 24 states.

The company headquarters are located at 3 High Ridge Park in Stamford, Connecticut.
 Vice President of National Sales and Marketing William C. O'Neill has announced that Katie Bryant is Citizens Communications' new vice president, customer care. She is based in Sacramento, Calif., at the company's western regional customer-care center.

In her new role, Bryant is responsible for both the residential and business in-bound customer call operations. Citizens Communications operates regional customer-care centers in Sacramento, Kingman, Ariz.; and Johnstown, N.Y.

Bryant joins Citizens Communications from Cable & Wireless (C & W) where she served as senior director of operations in Sacramento, following C & W's acquisition of MCI (1) (Media Control Interface) A high-level programming interface from Microsoft and IBM for controlling multimedia devices. It provides commands and functions to open, play and close the device.

 Internet. She was call center director (mass markets) for MCI Telecommunications in Sacramento, one of MCI's top-performing centers, responsible for sales, service, and management of a wide variety of telecommunication products, including long distance, local, calling card, cellular, Internet and pager services. Bryant joined MCI in 1983 as a national account executive. In 1986, she became MCI's branch manager responsible for the Sacramento, Walnut Creek Walnut Creek, residential city (1990 pop. 60,569), Contra Costa co., W Calif., in the San Francisco Bay area; inc. 1914.
