Citizens Bank New Hampshire and WMUR-TV have announced they are accepting applications from nonprofits for the 2009 Champions in Action for the third quarter, with a focus on financial literacy, and the fourth quarter, spotlighting hunger relief. The selected nonprofits will receive extensive support including a $25,000 donation. Applications can he obtained online at citizensbank.com/community/champions. Completed applications should be sent to: Citizens Bank, Public Affairs Department, Arm: Champions in Action program, 875 Elm St., Manchester, NH 03101. All applications must be received by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 24.
