Ranks Number One in Lipper Michigan Municipal Debt Fund Performance

Citizens Bank today announced it has been recognized by Lipper--the financial industry's premier provider of fund data and analysis--for managing the number one performing fund in its category.

In the Michigan Municipal Debt Funds category, the Golden Oak Michigan-Tax Free Bond Portfolio-Institutional Shares (proprietary mutual funds advised by Citizens Bank) were recognized by the Lipper Fixed Income Fund Performance Analysis Service for top performance for the one-year period ending December 31, 1999, according to according to
