Joanne Dowdell Leads Shareholder Activism Efforts For Family of

Socially Responsible Mutual Funds

Citizens Advisers, Inc., the investment adviser to Citizens Funds, one of the nation's oldest and largest families of socially responsible mutual funds, announced the appointment of Joanne Y. Dowdell, 44, to Director of Corporate Responsibility. Her chief responsibilities are corporate, social and environmental research as well as strategy development and implementation of the firm's shareholder activism initiatives.
