Citizen's Mortgage Uses Sollen Technologies Investor Price Guide for Rate Sheets.

Information for Different Regions Now Available in a Fraction of the Time

DALLAS -- Sollen Technologies, an Internet-based application services provider of product, pricing and best execution capabilities, announced that Citizen's Mortgage Corp. in Waco, Texas, which does up to $20 million per month in loan volume, is using its Investor Price Guide to produce rate sheets.

The Sollen Investor Price Guide gives loan officers a comparative snapshot of the mortgage market at any point during the day. Jordan Easley, regional sales rep for Sollen explained, "It produces a table of rates from multiple investors showing adjusted pricing based on a standard loan profile. Customers can choose their average loan size, state, doc type, FICO, etc., and use that scenario to compare each investor on their Sollen rate sheet. By taking the product adjusters into account, loan officers can get a much more accurate picture of investor pricing."

In Citizen's case, they have two retail divisions, one in Texas and one in Oklahoma and they were creating different rate sheets for the two different regions. "Using the Sollen Investor Price Guide we don't have to download all of the rate sheets," said Kari Kate Singleterry, COO and senior vice president for Citizen's Mortgage Corp. "The Sollen program downloads all of the information we need for the two regions and puts it into rate sheet format. It gives our loan officers the ability to price anything that our investors offer. Once a scenario is entered, SRPs are automatically calculated for the two regions. The program delivers the best price for all of the different programs that we are searching."

Rate sheets for the two different regions match the price that is available from Sollen's Lender Online loan platform. The Investor Price Guide has also greatly reduced the amount of time needed by Citizen's to produce rate sheets. "It has cut the time needed to produce rate sheets from 40 minutes to two," said Singleterry. "The people at Sollen have been very helpful and they respond to our needs immediately."
