Citicorp Services Inc. and Burger, Carroll & Associates head the list of sponsors for EBT--The Next Generation, a national conference on the future of electronic benefits transfer technology.

In announcing the sponsorships, H. Kurt Helwig, executive director of the Electronic Funds Transfer Association, the conference organizer, called the companies' commitment to the conference "an important milestone in the future of EBT."

EBT--The Next Generation is a nationwide conference focusing on how advanced electronic commerce technology can be used to deliver a wide array of government services.

This is the second year that both companies have sponsored the conference, noted Helwig. "Their commitment to EBT--The Next Generation, and to the Electronic Funds Transfer Association validates our premise that now is the time to begin planning the future of EBT."
