            IPL; Patricia Ramos, Instituto Mexicano en el Exterior;
            Darryl Hendricks, President of Citibank Illinois; Michael
            C. Doyle, Citibank Region Sales Manager; and Mary Grupp,

        When: Tuesday, June 22, 2004, 12 noon

        What: Citibank and Instituto del Progreso Latino will announce
            that they are teaming up for a major educational
            initiative. Citibank and Citi Cards have joined to provide
            a grant of $50,000 per year for two years to enhance
            Instituto del Progreso Latino's existing Plaza Comunitaria
            E-Mexico literacy program. Plaza Comunitaria E-Mexico is
            an initiative of the Mexican government to provide basic
            literacy education to Mexicans and other Spanish-speaking
            adults in Chicago using the latest technology and most
            current teaching/learning methodologies. Planned program
            enhancements include recruiting more volunteers, expanding
            the program to include a financial education component,
            and strengthening operations overall. The Instituto del
            Progreso Latino is a Latino-based organization created by
            Latinos in 1977 to address issues and concerns of fellow
            Latinos. A light lunch will be served.
