Citibank Named Corporation of the Year by Washington, DC Chapter of the National Black MBA Association.

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 19, 2000

Citibank has been named "Corporation of the Year" by the Washington, DC Chapter of the National Black MBA Association The National Black MBA Association is a professional association for African Americans with a Master of Business Administration. The National Black MBA Association was formed in 1970 and currently has 40 chapters and 6000 members in the United States. , Inc. (NBMBAA NBMBAA National Black MBA Association, Inc. ). The award will be presented at the Association's Sixteenth Annual Scholarship and Awards Banquet on Tuesday, June 20th at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. The award is given by the Association to a corporation that has made great strides in continuously promoting equal opportunities that challenge and stimulate qualified minority professionals. For the past five years, Citibank has been a strategic partner of the NBMAA NBMAA New Britain Museum of American Art  and participates in the Association's national conferences in an effort to recruit new employees. In addition, Citibank has worked closely with the Association to provide banking services to its members for personal and professional use.
