CSIP grants are awarded on a competitive basis with the highest priority given to organizations that can offer interns a valuable learning experience in the field of community development. CSIP directly supports the Citi Foundation's community development strategy by expanding nonprofit organizations' capacity to address the needs of the neighborhoods they serve. The organizations receiving CSIP grants select and hire their interns to ensure that they find the most suitable candidates to meet their needs.
