Citation Corporation Acquires CT South.


BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 14, 1998--Citation Corporation (Nasdaq: CAST) announced today that it has reached an agreement in principle for the purchase of CT-South, Marion, Alabama Marion is the county seat of Perry County, AlabamaGR6. As of the 2000 census, the population of the city is 3,511. Citation expects to complete a definitive agreement and close the acquisition December 28, 1998.
