Citation Corp. Butler Division receives two awards for supplier excellence.Citation citation n. 1) a notice to appear in court due to the probable commission of a minor crime such as a traffic violation, failure to keep a dog on a leash, drinking liquor in a park where prohibited, letting a dog loose without a leash, and in some states for possession of a small amount of marijuana. Failure to appear can result in a warrant for the citee's arrest. Corp.'s Butler Division, Butler, Ind., has been named a 2006 Best Supplier to Delphi Energy and Chassis Systems, Saginaw, Mich., for the second year in a row. Additionally, the operation has received a 2006 Pinnacle Award from Delphi's world headquarters in Troy, Mich. "Citation has worked extremely hard to meet and exceed customer expectations for quality, cost and delivery," said Chris Lautzenhiser, Citation-Butler's general manager. "Recognition by our customers is the highest indicator that we are building excellence into our products and processes." The Best Supplier Award is made each year to Delphi suppliers who provide products or services with an unquestioned commitment to customer service. The Pinnacle Award is given to Delphi suppliers who meet or exceed strict supplier performance criteria, including delivery, quality improvement, cost reduction and supplier-specific goals. Citation's Butter Division provides Delphi with permanent molded aluminum cast knuckles 1.
