Cisneros Group's Venevision International's Film Channel "VeneMovies" Expands to Puerto Rico.

 -- "VeneMovies", the Cisneros Group The Cisneros Group of Companies is one of the largest, privately held media, entertainment, telecommunications and consumer products organizations in the world. The Group owns or holds interests in companies ranging from broadcast television, networks and pay television businesses  of Companies' Venevision International's pay TV Spanish-language, 24-hour movie channel launched in the US market in September, extended its presence this month to Puerto Rico Puerto Rico (pwār`tō rē`kō), island (2005 est. pop. 3,917,000), 3,508 sq mi (9,086 sq km), West Indies, c.1,000 mi (1,610 km) SE of Miami, Fla.  as part of the line up of "OneLink Communications" which provides the signal to most subscribers on the island.

This adds an additional 56,000 "VeneMovies" digital subscribers to those already reached through Comcast in the continental U.S.

The channel also presents coverage of the events of the film industry in Spanish in the United States Spanish is the second most common language in the United States after English.
