PARIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 6, 2000

Cisco System,Inc. (NASDAQ: CSCO, HKSE: 4333 ) is an American multinational corporation with 54,000 employees and annual revenue of US $28.48 billion as of 2006.

, Application Service Providers, etc.

Cisco Systems, world leader in network solutions for Internet, develops new partnerships and chooses to work with Devoteam, who specializes in network, telecommunications and Internet consulting and engineering, to move its European IP convergence strategy up a gear.

This partnership is based on three principles:

-- Skills development

Devoteam, which employs 500 consultants, half of whom work on telecommunications and Internet projects, will develop its skills in Voice/Data convergence for "Services Providers" using Cisco technologies. Devoteam will then be able to offer its know-how to Cisco, its customers and partners.

-- Major investments

Devoteam will continue to significantly increase the number of Cisco certified consultants in the next 2 years (around 200 consultants: CCIE See Cisco certification. , CCNP See Cisco certification. , Voice consultants). Furthermore, a "Skills Center" for Voice/Data integration based on Cisco products is being set up to propose state-of-the-art solutions in this field, i.e. Telephony on IP, LAN (Local Area Network) A communications network that serves users within a confined geographical area. -- European commitment

Devoteam is to tackle this "Services Providers" market through a "Development Plan" in conjunction with Cisco's "Professional Services" department, by creating Pan-European skills centers and working in conjunction with local offices.

After France and Belgium, Devoteam is now planning to set up in other western European countries in order to offer its technical expertise to Cisco customers in these countries.

"We are delighted with this partnership. Since its creation in 1995, Devoteam has been working in the telecoms field with this sector currently representing 45% of our turnover. It now seems natural that we should develop partnerships with the major editors and constructors on the market. Furthermore, this agreement will enable Devoteam to hold a strategic position in Europe in a very buoyant market sector -- that of voice/data convergence and its associated services," confirmed Godefroy de Bentzmann, Devoteam's CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization.
