A[micro] WHAT: Cisco Systems (NASDAQ:CSCO) is hosting an executive
breakfast panel, moderated by industry analyst Jim Metzler
of Metzler and Ashton, followed by site visits to local
customer sites to showcase how Cisco networking technology
is heralding a new way of living and working.
A[micro] Attendees will hear directly from decision makers
representing a diverse group of Albuquerque's public and
private sector organizations. Panelists and guest speakers
include Albuquerque's Mayor Martin Chavez and the City's
CIO Clint Hubbard, as well as representatives from the
Navajo Nation, Albuquerque Public Schools, ABQ Rapid Ride,
First Community Bank and Laguna Development. All of these
organizations are using Cisco technology to improve the
way Albuquerqueans live, work, learn and play.
A[micro] Carolyn Purcell, director of Cisco's Internet Business
Services Group (IBSG) and former CIO for the state of
Texas will provide an overall update on Cisco's
Internet-based technology and the "Connected Communities"
program.
