Cisco Systems Selects Cisco-Only RE/COM to Represent U.S. Partners at the Cisco-Japan Partner Forum.


MOORESTOWN, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 1, 1999--

The RE/COM Group, Inc., a silver-certified Cisco partner, recently addressed 125 Cisco partners in Japan regarding RE/COM's successful decision to sell only Cisco and implement services-led selling.

RE/COM Partner Paul Ferraro shared with top-level executives from Cisco partners, such as Fujitsu, Oki, Mitsubishi Electric Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (三菱電機株式会社  , Canon, Hitachi, Toshiba, Compaq, and NEC (NEC Corporation, Tokyo, www.nec.com, www.necus.com) An electronics conglomerate known in the U.S. for its monitors. "Our Japanese partners were delighted to have the opportunity to exchange views with him on how RE/COM increased sales, margins and productivities by Cisco-Only, Services-Led Selling and Strategic Partnerships."

"Sharing the RE/COM success story with other partners will help contribute to the survival of the channel," said Ferraro. "VARs must start selling services otherwise they may not survive into the millennium."
